Overview

Fibster (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a multiplayer party game. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run the game:

  • Display name — the name you enter when joining a game. This is not stored after the session ends.
  • Game session data — your definitions, votes, and scores during a game session. This is temporary and deleted when the session ends.
  • Connection identifiers — a temporary WebSocket connection ID used to deliver real-time game updates. This is not linked to your identity.

What We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect email addresses or real names
  • We do not require account creation or login
  • We do not use cookies or tracking pixels
  • We do not collect device identifiers or location data
  • We do not sell or share any data with third parties
  • We do not use any analytics or advertising SDKs

Data Storage

Game session data is stored temporarily on AWS servers in the United States during active gameplay. Session data is not persisted after the game ends. We do not maintain any user profiles or historical records.

Children's Privacy

Fibster does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game does not require any personal information to play.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
